It has never been our intention to button-hole individuals, or companies to 'empty their pockets' - in the name of a good cause! Nor do we really want to pressurise you here by printing images of limbless service men and women.
We've all seen them and we should all have shared a little of their grief (and that of their families) for lives ruined. For us the price of war often seems too great and weighs heavily. I personally served in uniform for just short of 30 years and barely taken a bruise - but then I was never called to serve in a war zone. Our eldest son continues to serve and has indeed taken his turn in a war zone and has seen comrades 'fall' just yards away, but he has returned to -unharmed!
That shared good fortune obliges my son and I to do whatever we can for others less fortunate.
