We had half a morning to see some more of the Isle of Islay before starting the penultimate leg of our ‘island hopping odyssey’! The weather seemed to have changed dramatically with heavy clouds and a strong wind! We though felt that our time was up and the time was right to move to the next chapter!
The ferry from Port Ellen
will took us back to Kennacraig (W shore of the Mull of Kintyre – as we had time to spare we took in Tarbert (Argyll) - very much a traditional fishing village. then we drive
to the Port of Claonaig (E shore of Mull of Kintyre), where we collect the
ferry to Lochranza, Isle of Arran.
Here are some of our images:
Tarbert, Argyllshire - not to be confused with Tarnert, S.Uist
PS: The two charging photos are spoofs - we were looking for a top-up, but there were no options! We do not touch other peoples electrics - ever!
